Workshops
Sailing Into The FutureTeam-building at sea Aboard a beautiful and immaculately kept yacht with its own facilities you will experience how to hoist sails, have a turn at the wheel and get an insight into the art of controlling a sailing yacht. While at sea, your team will be assigned tasks where you will apply teamwork skills in a realistic, exciting and demanding environment under the guidance of Performa facilitators and experienced crew. Throughout the sailing adventure, participants will be guided through discussion and analysis of the experience of each assignment and are asked challenging questions such as: What is the relative importance of planning versus action? How important is flexibility? Does crisis management imply a different leadership style? How resourceful were you in carrying out the assignment? During this journey, Performa facilitators invite you to examine yourself and your colleagues through the Belbin model, a self-administered test of team roles. The results provide useful insights into your own and your colleagues’ ‘team persona’ and management style. At the end of the voyage, you will be ready to apply your new insights to a more effective future in your organization. "At the end of our workshop with Performa, not only did we emerge with new creative problem-solving skills, we emerged as a better, more dynamic, more cohesive team"
Kate Thompson, "Creativity enables people to think the unthinkable, do the undoable."
