Communicating EffectivelyCommunication is as much about listening as it is about articulation and delivery. Of course, what really matters is what people perceive. And this is where what is said and how and why it is said becomes important. This workshop will help you think in a way that will empower you in your communication. The biggest barrier to effective communication is our own selves, our thoughts, intentions and behaviour. This workshop will challenge your senses, and allow you to sharpen your The Performa approach This workshop teaches communication in a unique way by utilising all three learning styles (tactile, visual, audio) through experiential exercises, theory and reflection. It addresses communication not only at the sensory level - language, body language, listening, behaviour – but also goes deeper to explore the "why" of communication. Our commitment to creativity will ensure that this course is not just a set of do’s and don’ts, as we will help you use your own creative talent to stretch your communicative potential to the maximum. Objectives • Promote an awareness of communication and communication processes Methods Group exercises and role-play. Theory is presented as a supporting background and coaching provides feedback for the development of communication effectiveness.
