About The Artist

Ümit İnatçı

Born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1960, Ümit İnatçı's artistic talents were first discovered at school by his arts teacher, painter Ali Atakan.
In 1978, he went to London for his higher education in arts, and later on moved to Italy. In 1984, he graduated from the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts.

Ümit has won many awards and received much press coverage for his painting, photography and graphics design works and he has participated in many exhibitions in Cyprus, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

Ümit is also a poet, writer and publisher and a regular contributor to the Turkish-Cypriot daily Afrika with his articles.
